Low Latency Cloud Gaming, Explained
Low latency cloud gaming isn't one number — it's the combined result of network latency (distance to the data center), streaming protocol efficiency, remote GPU/CPU performance, and your local connection and device. Ping alone doesn't tell the whole story: a 20ms route can still feel sluggish if the stream is poorly encoded or the remote machine is underpowered. The goal is Ultra-low latency streaming, which is impossible — it's keeping total delay low enough that the game feels responsive.
