Permafrost is a story-driven open-world survival sandbox set on a near-future Earth trapped in an endless winter after a series of catastrophes. You play as a Rook, an engineer trying to survive, rebuild, and uncover what happened.
In this SensePC gaming session, we explore frozen cities and wilderness, scavenge supplies, craft equipment, repair abandoned technology, build shelter networks, and prepare for brutal weather where the cold itself is one of the biggest threats.
Permafrost can be played solo or in online co-op with up to four players, letting your group divide responsibilities, explore together, and build a stronger survival network across the frozen world.
